MGEC PE EXAM REVIEW CLASS
The course is designed for
employees who will be taking the
P.E. Civil Engineering exam in October or April. The class meets afternoons,
typically on Monday afternoons, once a week for eight sessions and is completed
1-2
weeks before the PE exam date. The course is typically offered
in both spring and fall. MGEC members may be able to take the course without
taking vacation time by utilizing the Employee Initiated Training section of
Article 4, Section 5 of the MGEC contract.
The instructors are volunteers from the MGEC membership. Topics reviewed are Geotechnical (materials, soils, foundations); Hydraulics; Surveys & Construction; Environmental; Structures; Traffic. Classes are held at the MnDOT Office of Aeronautics, Main Floor Conference Room, 222 East Plato Blvd., St. Paul. Directions (click "Map")
Lindeburg Reference Manual 11th edition - Class participants may purchase the Lindeburg manual at the PPI partner rate of $169.96 plus shipping and handling. Purchase of the manual is optional and not a requirement for the MGEC class. The ordering link is given at the end of the registration form.
