DESCRIPTION:As of now\, the Annual Meeting planned for May 18th will be held on the same day as announced (May 18th)\, but as a Skype only event. The golf and dinner that usually go along with it have been postponed indefinitely. We do hope to reschedule the golf event for some point in the future\, but at this point have no idea when. We will keep you updated; as you are all aware the COVID-19 crisis is still evolving and guidelines for public events are changing in response to recommendations from health care professionals. DESCRIPTION:Presenter Dennis Martenson provides an overview of ethics in the engineering and construction industries including an update on recent changes in Minnesota State registration rules that relate to ethics. The presenter is a past member of the Minnesota Board of Architecture\, Engineering\, Land Surveying\, Landscape Architecture\, Geoscience and Interior Design (aka AELSLAGID). He has been involved in teaching ethics at the college level and enforcing ethics at the professional level with a national professional engineering association. \n  \n***(Registration has closed for this event\, but watch the web for two additional ethics seminars-February 24th and April 23rd.  Registration will be up for these by the end of January.  The February seminar will be held at Hiway Federal Credit Union (50 people) and the April seminar will be held at MGEC with a Skype option).*** \n  \nFor questions\, contact kari.torkelson@mgec.org \n
