It is not too soon to think about the election process that will create next year’s MGEC board of directors. As a free-standing nonprofit organization whose mission is to advocate for our members and bargain the best possible labor agreement with the State of Minnesota, our priorities and strategies are developed and driven by our Board. MGEC members who have stepped up to be Officers and on the Board of Directors are the voice of the MGEC membership and are vital as MGEC fulfills its mission. More details on the election process will come out in the next couple of months but consider taking your membership to the next level by running for the Board. If you’re not a member of MGEC, become one today – don’t leave your power in someone else’s hands!
