Employees denied the Juneteenth Holiday of 2022 shall be allowed an additional floating holiday. This was effective October 4, 2022, but the employer is just getting around to having agency payroll staff enter the additional floating holiday in the payroll system to make it available for employees to use. MMB anticipates that agencies will have added the floating holiday in their system during the November 8th pay period.
All eligible employees, who were in employment on June 20, 2022, and covered under this Agreement, shall be eligible for one (1) additional floating holiday which must be used on or before June 30, 2023. The additional floating holiday will not carry over after June 30, 2023 and will not be accumulated or paid off.
