Review & Approve Agenda (Corey Mathisen)

Bruce Henningsgaard moves to approve the agenda, Carroll Aasen seconds. Motion Carries.

Secretary’s Report – Review & Approve Past Minutes (Benton Campbell)

1. May 20^th, 2024 Meeting Minutes
   • Blake Nelson moves to approve the minutes with two typographical corrections, Bruce Henningsgaard seconds. Motion Carries.

1. Comparison of other state union dues.

Executive Director’s Report (Dana Wheeler)

1. Staff Leave Balances
   • Reviewed
2. Building Update
   • MGEC is second owner of the building. AC and major appliances are aging. Both air conditioners failed, so both air conditioners and furnaces have been replaced, and are more efficient.
3. Election
   • Incumbents have been notified that their terms are ending, and we are gauging their interest on running again.
4. Deferred Compensation
   • Reminder to verify match is being provided, and let employees know.
5. Professional License Reminder
   • PE/LS expirations are end of June. Employer generally verifies license renewal in July.
   • MGEC Staff will send out a short communication on 6/25 to remind members to verify their renewal.

   • Annual Meeting/Golf Event
     • Most details finalized: 9-Hole shotgun start at Oak Marsh on September 26. Reviewed other details.
     • Brandon Nelson moves to approve up to $4,500 budget for the annual meeting, Mike Rude seconds. Motion Carries.
   • Proposed Constitutional Updates: Articles 9-15 and Bylaws 1-4
     • Housekeeping changes throughout

2. Analysis of 2024 conversion performance
   • Numbers skewed a bit due to the day the report was run
