Sometimes our fellow coworkers experience life events where they run into severe hardship because they run out of benefits and are unable to work. You can make a huge difference in their lives! Consider donating some vacation so that our coworkers can continue to afford insurance premiums when they need it most. There are many employees needing your help. Some are employees in the MGEC Bargaining Unit. At least one of them has asked us to call your attention to his need.
Please follow the instructions below to look into or contribute to this process.
Log in to Self Service Portal using your employee ID and password
- Select the Benefits tile > My Leave tile. From the menu on the left-hand side, select the arrow to access the Leave Donation
- Select the magnifying glass next to “Reserve Bank” and choose (recipient)’s name
- Enter the number of hours you wish to donate
- Select “Save”
The following link is the donation contribution form. Part One, to be completed when submitting the form, provides blanks for the names of recipients and # of hours to donate to that recipient. Of course, the person designated must have been determined eligible to receive donations by the program.
